Bias Report for Wednesday 12-30-2015

Aqueduct — looked to be mildly favoring front speed and the inside was certainly okay…

Santa Anita –  This was a Major INSIDE favoring bias.  Horses closed well, so long as they were on the rail… In race after race, the horses that had been on the fence through the first 2/3rd of the race, just opened up and won as if they were odds-on…  In every instant we say the leader continue to draw away as if they were running downhill and the rest of the horses were running up hill… Have I made my point…

Race Day Plays for Wednesday:

Aqueduct:  Hit it Once More was scratched after the post parade…

At Santa Anita:  Shysheisnot ran an even 3rd while wide the entire trip.  Wasted At Midnight, was in no position to get on the lightning fast rail…

STARTING ON 1/1/2016… Each day the play will be posted with the accumulating ROI…

Sunday’s Race Day Selections:

Aqueduct :  Race # 5 – Winner $5.80 Absoatootly  — exacta with Backwood Bay (top rated on Power Page) turned a handsome $43.40/$2.00

Santa Anita:  Race #4 — Place – Hoffenheim — exacta with French Getaway turned a beautiful exacta at $33.20/$2.00…

Just a comment on Hoffenheim, nothing wrong with the ride, it just wasn’t as good a ride as French Getaway had; my opinion was that this one ran too well not to win – Sunday…

Sunday’s Track Bias Report

Aqueduct played honest, maybe a slight edge to horse’s saving ground, maybe is the key word here.  Interestingly, on Saturday the Inside part of the track was slow.  Anyone who assumed that because there was a negative rail bias on Saturday, would have been mistaken on Sunday… We observe the Bias but we must assume the next day to be honest…

Santa Anita played honestly – to my eye…
