I had a question about the “projections on the Power Page”.  Actually, I was questioned when Thomas Hill ran poorly.   Well, horses with good ratings don’t always run exactly as we like, no matter the actual odds.  Putting together a play, has to take into account a number of handicapping ideas and that’s really the job of — you — the handicapper.

The Projected Power Numbers, (I call them PPN), are a consistent way of looking at the most recent races.  It’s not intended as a selection, actually, it’s simply a very good starting point for your handicapping…  Enough said…STay with the Power Page…

Talking Bias at Del Mar….

So with all the discussion about the “dead rail” on Thursday, the rail was an okay place to be!  Winner’s ran on the rail and did just fine – they were winners.  This is not surprising, with all the discussion, the track crew got over to the rail and fixed the problem…

Now here is the big question, will they be able to maintain a fair rail to race on?

Value horses are abounding all over both cards. so get your Power Page’s and give good looks to the “V” horses…
