So we have 11 races at Saratoga tomorrow, as the entree to Travers’s weekend.  ARE THEY KIDDING ME.  I sometimes wonder if they — management at the track  – can’t figure out they are over-exposing their customers to too many races and wearing them out.  If you would like my opinion, I would handicapp 7 or 8 races – consecutive races – go an play those, conserve some energy for the weekend — and play some of the races –  NOT ALL OF THE RACES.  Eventually, we all get exhausted and start to make mistakes and our handicapping becomes more challenged because we are tired…

So get a good night’s sleep, eat well and handicap feeling fresh and fit…  That’s the biggest edge…

What a great day for STAR horses and not too bad for “V” horses…  STAR horses dominated the card at Saratoga…   I will refrain from going over each of them, but I will say that anyone with the Power Page had more than a fair chance to cash both the first two exacta’s in races 1 and 2.  And obviously, everyone should have had the exacta in the 5th, especially because the TOP RATED HORSE — Dowse’s Beach was also a STAR horse and I gave that play out on Race Day Las Vegas…

To finish it all off, in the finale at Del Mar, our 2nd rated horse — Next Book — sported our “V” and won paying $13.80…  Just a terrific day…
