Saturday’s (3-17-2012) Power Page and KHSS for Aqueduct and Santa Anita are now available for download…

Weather watch on the California Coast this weekend, but it’s a really good weekend of racing.  Just remember, if you are betting into the one turf race on Saturday at Santa Anita, The Irish O’brien, try to wait to confirm the race is actually on the Turf.  Saturday’s headliner at Santa Anita is the Santa Margarita which features Ellafitz.  Ellafitz has a nice little win streak going, winning 3 in a row – leading to her 6/5 morning line.   However, on the Power Page she is NOT top rated, her last race just doesn’t project her as far forward as another runner.   Ellafitz certainly is one of the top contenders after her three straight wins, but she is “NO Automatic” at this time.   While at Aqueduct, we have a number of really nice races tomorrow including the Broad Brush with a upward looking Swag Daddy and a really interesting edition of The Excelsior at 1 1/8th mile featuring  Inherit The Gold.  Again, this is no lay down.  Inherit has been running a bunch of strong efforts, but he will have to run to his best to win again…

Friday’s plays were 1 ran a place finish and the other scratched…UP $234.20 and Down $222.00…The ROI slips to $1.05 per $1.00 wagered….

Friday’s (3-16-2012) Power Page and KHSS for Aqueduct and Santa Anita are now available for download…

Another stellar day for the Power Page, especially at Aqueduct.  As for my selections, Call Me First ran a decent 2nd to the The Fed Eased with the Aluminum Pads On.   The reverse exacta paid a solid $34.00 for $2.00, making the play very full of value. At Santa Anita my selection, It’s Not Unusual,  at a shade under 9/1 ran home well for 3rd.   The play lined up if you used my numbers in the Trifecta and put I.N.T. in 3 positions would have worked out.  That was NOT my approach, but I like to see my horses run some, even when they don’t get the money — that way I know I am handicapping horses that can run in some sort of decent form.  The total return remains at $234.20 with the cost now at $220.00.   The ROI at about $1.06 per $1.00 wagered.
