On Sunday, I gave out a play that went off at 30/1, the horse was Carpathia in the 7th at Santa Anita – a STAR horse.  Carpathia finished well for 3rd money, certainly running better than her odds.  This particular horse rose to the TOP of my Contender’s List for those who were looking at the PLUS JJPP.  Certainly a good play, but it was a head short of being one we could win on.  And I would say, that if we have a steady diet of this type off play at this odds with the kind of resulting effort by the horse, we will all be very well!

Then on Monday, at Santa Anita, in the 4th race,  Triconomics went off at 34/1.  Also a STAR horse and also running very well. So well in fact that he won paying a whopping $79.00 for $2.00.  This particular STAR horse also had an Early Speed alert, notated by the “1” to the left of the horse.  In this case, Triconomics made it into the Contenders List, but in the 4th position.

In real time Trickonimics was every bit as good a play or better than Carpathia.  But we never know that for certain, until we are brave enough to stop betting the obvious horse that has shown the most in the past… and start looking to use past performance to look for forward movement, that hasn’t been seen yet!

This game, and my products, are not about taking the short end of every play, but finding as many possible long price winners/place runners and getting well with them!

Okay, Thursday is here and let’s get some pricey winners…

 “Race Day Las Vegas” Plays

Thursday’s

Aqueduct’s play canceled, as did the whole card .

Santa Anita

Race #7,,, Miss Bliss off at square odds followed along in mid-pack and tried to rally, but each time she couldn’t go on, then finished poorly, the class drop here was not the solution, and I bought the problem… but at square odds…

Friday

At Aqueduct, they cancelled again…

At Santa Anita… Wendy’s Back off at 7/2, broke a touch slow, and seemed a little “tentative” then settled and started to rally, but was a bit hard to handle, and wouldn’t move between horses, so the jock (CNak), had to wait for clearance and move her way outside, but then when asked hard, she lugged in,,, needing handling by the jock…  it might have been the ground had a little too much give or that she is still very green… either way, this wasn’t the worst effort… so keep an eye on this one…

Saturday

At Aqueduct, Barefoot Angel off at 6/5, was below my fair value and should not have been played in my opinion.  Broke a touch slow and moved up to the outside line, sitting 3rd about 2.5 lengths behind the dueling leaders, moved up outside in tandem to take a slim lead, battled on without ever extending and eventually tired to finish 3rd .  Might not have handled the surface…   Priced saved our play!

At Santa Anita in the finale, Airlite off at 5/1 was tardy coming out of the gate, stayed near the back moved a little late in a lackluster performance, to finish about 5th…  Not a very good effort in my opinion…

Sunday

At Aqueduct… J J’s Dreaming off a little short, did some nice running early, wrested the lead turning for home, but flattened out to finish 3rd.  Okay effort.

At Santa Anita… Carpathia was off at 30/1, was back in last early and then started to move along nicely, then started a meaningful rally, but the winner ran off and was in a photo for PLACE money, but  only got the show… but at 30/1, we were betting the right horse.
