I always want to be recognized for my STAR horses.  Since we began publishing in 1998, the STAR horse has been the big deal for me… Again on Friday, my STAR horses totally rocked, with a total of only 4 on both cards (just like on Thursday – below) with 1 winner off at 19/1 and 1 place, also off at 19/1 ( just missing in the final race at Del Mar)… Zero Zee paid $40.20 in winning the 5th at Saratoga — leading to a Pick 6 carryover… and then at the end of the car at Del Mar, Closing Time finished 2nd at 19/1, beaten by our Top Rated horse to make a gargantuan exacta and set up our players bankrolls for tomorrow!

Thursday’s STAR horse report…

Talking about fit and ready horses…  My STAR horses fit that description, on Thursdaywe had two STAR horses at Del Mar… Both won… paying $28.20 in the 1st and $33.40 in the 3rd…  which helped several Power Page and PLUS users to cash the Pick 5 which paid a whopping $8,305.80 for $1.00…

Del Mar on  (8-9)…      I am thinking the RAIL was a bit on the Dead side on Friday

Del Mar’s Turf — seems back to a fair racing surface….

Race Day Play from Friday

Saratoga… Race #2 Valkimqua off at 4/1… had some early issues, getting bumped around and settled fairly far back, then attempted to catch the early leaders, but had little to offer…

Del Mar Race #1 Yavrig  off at 5/1…  attacked early and wrested the lead away, encountered the eventual winner early, was passed, then fought back gamely all the way to the wire in a gutty performance… It was way back to the 3rd runner. The exacta was ours, paying a lovely $32.80 for $2.00
