Art Collector wins the Pegasus at 15/1, while the TOP-RATED PPN in the race…

You simply can’t make this stuff up. While anyone who has any handicapping knowledge must have realized this horse had run the best races against the best horses. At some point this must translate into a vyer high potential speed figure, if you simply are looking for him to run back to one of his old races. To be honest, I rated him at 77.8, but he had run races as fast as 80.5 in his history.

I fully expected him to be 3/1 and thought that maybe White Abarrio would be worth at bet at 10/1. But that’s not what happened in real-time, Art Collector went off a whopping 15/1 and White Abbario was down around 5/1 – ultimately going off at 6/1.

Well under these circumstances there can be no doubt that the correct bet is on Art Collector. You have to be able to assess value as well as probability, we can simply not afford to place our opinion over betting on the superior value proposition, especially when it’s as crazy good as this was.

For me, I settled the issue by betting both of them in equal amounts and as full wagers. Why not!
