Sunday’s (11-11-2012) Power Page and KHSS for Aqueduct and BF-Hollywood are now ready for download…

Before I talk about our wonderful but slightly silly (in the Big Picture) game, I want to take a moment to honor and applaud all the marvelous men and women who have served in the military — thereby serving each of us in ways we cannot imagine.  IN 2011 my wife and I visited Normandy and spend several days touring the Beach’s and the War Museum in Cain, France.  And of course our graves at our National Cemetery at Omaha Beach in France.   I strongly recommend that anyone who can make this trip, should make this trip, as your pride in our great country and the amazing people from who we all come will never be more vivid.

Each day when I enter the offices of the JJPP, above my desk, below pictures of Forego and Man O’ War is a really important picture of La Pointe Du Hoc  a fortified cliff that overlooked both Omaha Beach and Utah Beach that was reigning terror upon the beaches.  The 2nd battalions of Rangers launched their attack by scaling the cliffs with ropes and folding ladders and the determination that they could and would do anything and everything necessary to push the German’s back from their fortified locations more than 100 feet above the beaches.  And they did.   As far as I am concerned, the American Service Men and Women are always valiant and always my heroes…

Over the course of time, I have often talked about the importance of price and how it’s the best friend of the handicapper.  There are a few ways to be right and win, but many more to be wrong and lose.  It’s easy to lose with the best horse and or the best handicapping idea (sometimes the horses do not cooperate), but if the price is right, in the end it should be a reasonable end.  ON Saturday we had numerous STAR horses , 12 in all with only 1 winner!  The winner was a goody though and paid a healthy $37.60 for $2.00 in the 4th at Aqueduct– the horse VYJACK  So the numbers come out pretty good with the winnings at $37.60 against a cost of $24.00, for a nice profit of $13.60.  So on a difficult day, the Power Page was really very good.

Some new distribution locations are being discussed in Reno and Laughlin, hopefully we can make an announcement soon…  Stop back…
