I’m keeping the blog a little light tonight.  I was sorry to see Groupie Doll get run down by a lesser but very nice horse, Stay Thirsty.  But that’s what happens when they do too mcu and it’s one of the excellent reasons not to worry if your betting the “best horse”, all that matter is who is the best horse today.  We are always looking to find horses that are going forward toward a best effort,  they are often able to outgame “classier” company and make you a nice score…  The collective group of horses that have raced in the Breeders Cup are all potential bet-against, even though they are all dropping down in company – almost for sure.  Yesterday we saw Jeranimo run so very lazy in the stretch on his beloved Hollywood turf course, today we saw Coil, Groupie Doll, Flashy Ways all with dead aim, but having no run in the final 110 yards…   I think that might be called “bouncing”.  Keep this in mind, big efforts run horses into bad form…
