Our best wishes for a Happy Holiday

The three preps were really interesting, with Carpe Diem and Dortmund really impressing in the victories.   The Wood seemed less impressive, interestingly, the Wood has been very impressive for the past few years with terrible results.  So now that today’s lackluster Wood has produced a winner in Frosted that seemed very slow to me, maybe we have a ‘late developing closer” that needs some consideration as well.  But there is now doubt about the high quality efforts of both Dortmund and Carpe Diem…

One lingering doubt to throw at Dortmund, he seems to be a horse that is keen early and prefers to run on the front end, I wonder if that is an extra barrel to jump,  We will be talking more later… Also, Bolo does not appear to go further than a 1 Mile distance on the dirt, but again I thought he showed some class.
