Sunday’s (4-7-2013) Power Page and KHSS for Aqueduct and Santa Anita are ready for download…

The Wood Memorial did not disappoint one bit.  Verrazano came off the far turn roaring toward the finish with the ever competitive Vyjack chasing for all he was worth, and then Normandy Invasion came a running late.   No doubt that Verrazano goes toward the Derby as the favorite.  Bur he is only the fav by the slimist of margins and anyone could make a great case for Normandy Invasion.  Quite frankly,  I think Vyjack still belongs but will no doubt be a little longer priced in any match-up now that the Wood is history.  By the way, all three were off the live rail, so they all should have gotten a little extra conditioning that will serve them all well!

As for Flashback and Goldencents show themselves as the two best of the West Coast group.  The visual on Goldencents makes him look like the better of the two, but I look forward to taking any matchup with Flashback assuming both cool out nicely.   The rail at Santa Anita has been terrible for two days — therefore the trip on Goldencents while helping him to the S.A. Derby today, will not necessarily be a great help to moving him more forward, while Flashback once again took the worst of it — in my opinion — and should get some terrific conditioning for his next effort.

Of course, everything is subject to my review of the Speed figs which I will have processed in a day or two.  So I will re-shuffle the order a little later in the week…So check back on Wednesday…
