I am not blogging tonight, but I do want to congratulate DAP, Victor Espinosa and California Chrome on his outstanding victory in The Preakness.  While he wasn’t a great bet for $2.00 he was a true champion on the racetrack.  His break was forward and he moved out (uphill) in the early going – then dominated each rival throughout the running and cruised home ahead of a “hanging” Ride On Curlin.  By the way Ride On Curlin finally produced a true Grade 1 effort albeit a touch of hang.  Anyway,, CC was just plain terrific today… Maybe he can do one more…  Later I will do a piece comparing CC to some of the others who have gotten this far but failed to measure up to Affirmed , Seattle Slew and Secretariat…
