Tapwrit — TOP RATED 77.3* and one of only 2 STAR horses wins the Belmont!
It’s all about Tapwrit and the sharp player that took down the jackpot at Santa Anita. Seriously, we had a slow clocking for the Belmont in 2:30 2/5. But Tapwrit and to a slightly lesser extend, Irish War Cry ran very credibly through the lane. But to fully understand what we saw, it’s really important to get the actual figures these two horses (and the others) actually ran. I will try to have that posted tomorrow…
Keep in mind, in getting a variant, we have to have the right variant, so that ALL THE HORSES get a proper speed figure… so we have no interest in upping or lowering any horse in order to get a sense of greatness or a thrill, that is simply not deserved.
So please come back tomorrow… because to be honest, I am pretty tired right now…
