Tapizar returned with a terrific run to win the opener at Belmont over Boys of Toscanova, who reported home 3rd.  Boys looked a little fleshy and probably needed this one.  B of T looked very balanced running in the lane, but didn’t show a big run while running slightly against the bias of the track — with the inside looking like the better going…  The Champagne was run by Union Rags but not quite as brilliant as either of the Frizette fillies M Miss Aurelia who took advantage of the inside to beat a very good Stopshoppingmaria.   Just remember these are youngsters who need time to develop properly — something we saw and object lesson in last year….
