The Dynamite continues…
With 5 TOP Rated winners and 2 place finishes on Wednesday’s card, it’s easy to say the JJPP’s were spot on once again… But better than the simple MOTO stuff, the Power Page put my right on several high value payoffs…
Two Structures with different Value Pointers… Both $$$ producers…
The two most interesting plays occurred in the 3rd and 8th at Aqueduct, in which both races had highly rated horses — that were uncoupled entries, in which both parts of the uncoupled entry were live! In race #3, Chad Brown had the 1st and 2nd choice in Request and Grey Wizard. It’s pretty hard to get both halves of anything to both perform, especially at 2/1 and 5/2… My 3rd rated horse on the Power Page was Coturnix who was rising on the tote board and surely was going off at double digits. So the obvious play was to KEY Coturnix at 11/1 and make exacta with both Chad Browns… When the dust settled I was cashing a $54.00 exacta and a place wager in a 1 x 2 Key Box…
The next play was even easier, especially after the scratch of Marriedtothemusic, who was my initial #1 contender. But when he scratched it made Fabulous Kid and Heavenly Runner look like another 1-2 punch from the very tough David Jacobson barn. But as we know, it’s a very tough thing to do, and with Marriedtothemusic scratched, it gave a look to Green Gratto as possibly “loose early speed” – with this type of competitive class of horse, that is an “advantage”. With the VALUE pointing at Fabulous Kid it became really easy to focus the wager on him snd make a 1 x 2 Key Box wheel in exacta’s and Key FK on top in trifectas and ultimately cash a beautiful $12.60 win mutual and a $174.00 cold trifecta with a very efficient wager!
