Wednesday’s selections at Aqueduct ran 2nd in the 5th race and 4th in the 7th race.  The exacta in the 5th came with one of my exacta turns paying n handsome $30.60 for a $2.00 wager.    While the Pure Grit wasn’t long enough odds to count his place money, there was enough value in the exacta pools (if you looked at them) to build this play out for win and place – which I found very surprising at post time.  It pays to do the work…
