NO doubt, the two Summer Spa meets are great fun, but they also do their very best to “break” the horse player.   Most players are pretty worn out by the end of August and need to “reload” when the meets come to an end.   This season with the Power Page should have been much better for everyone with TOP RATED horses showing a “FLAT BET PROFIT” for the entire meetings – so far!   From 7/19/2013 through 8/18/2013  the TOTAL WINNING for Top Rated horses has been $828.40 and the TOTAL COST has been $828.00.    It would have been nice if I had lucked into a $50.00 winner here or there to help promote the ROI, but that is not the case.   IT’s been done with the regular price horse form ODDS on to 8/1 being the highest.

What does this mean?  Since the Power Page is NOT finished handicapping, but a set of ratings based upon the more recent form of each horse and slanted to that idea — which I have maintained for 23 years- is the single best predictor of the outcome of a race.   So the Power Page give you that information to “plug into your handicapping decisions”.  Pretty nice, especially when the data get you to “break-even” before you do any work…
