The Quarterback Controversy in Las Vegas…
Derek Carr, the current QB for the Las Vegas Raiders or Tom Brady – the greatest football player of all time – as the QB for the Las Vegas Raiders. This was the big controversy made in the Daily Papers here in LV.
Here is what I think of replacing Derek Carr with Tom Brady… NO WAY!
Derek Carr is young, improving and has many years ahead of him… plus he can run away from trouble. Tom Brady is old, has a limited future, and is as slow. If the Raiders had an Offensive Line the equivalent of the TB Bucs… and it was guaranteed they would stay together for 5 years… well then maybe it would make sense. But Las Vegas Raider’s OL is a work in progress and has a long way to go before it could provide OLD Tom with the security he needs.
Meanwhile, Derek Carr – single-handedly lifted the Raiders to a near victory in the Championship and a place in the Super Bowl. Now with a little more improvement, a great head coach, Carr is all we need for a serious run at the Super Bowl this year. Good luck to the Bucs and Brady, I like the Raiders – just the way they are! Stick with Derek Carr…
(PS… The Raiders are only my 2nd favorite team… )
