Sometimes you have to identify a BIAS and adjust your thinking as you realize there are subtle advantages that favor one horse over another.   It we pretty obvious that EARLY-SPEED was a huge advantage on the Main Track and that made STAR HARBOUR  a strong play in the 8th.  Once you understood that his early speed was going to provide an advantage to him and his main competition was going to have to “overcome” the  bias — your adjustments should have had you betting strongly on STAR HARBOUR.   After seeing what was going on, on my past performance, I changed STAR Harbour from a 75.5 to a 76.5 and I demoted Gallant Field from 75.3 down to 74.3 and Fiddlers Afleet from 75.0 down to 74.00.   All of a sudden he was looking pretty good at 2/1…  Especially when you consider that MOTT is pretty good at getting his horses to run very well when they are freshened….

That how you do it…
