Right now we are having a fabulous day at Del Mar…  We have two STARwinner’s in the first 3 races…  Blackjackcat, winner of the 3rd was our FEATURED PLAY of the day at 5/1… our play ran down the exacta and trifecta…

AS I am writing this, Abel Tasman just won, after a very tough and hard fought stretch duel with Elate, Salty also ran well… Abel Tasman put Elate in very tight through the lane.  The following Steward’s Inquiry was not allowed.  That does not agree with my view.  I thought she needed to be DQ’d.  But that’s just me…

I thought the ride by Mike Smith was questionable, he put her on the lead very early and she had to sustain a long hard run.  And she did… Great job by Abel Tasman, and she saved Mike Smith’s bacon…just my opinion…
