The Empire Classic and the whole card at Belmont is some of the most contentious handicapping I have seen in quite some time.   With the exception of a few odds-on standouts like Wired Bryan and Cluster of Stars which appear to have their less talented rivals — over the proverbial barrel — the balance of the contest have a high degree of handicapping difficulty– at least to this handicapper…

My favorite race on Saturday at Belmont is probably Race #10…  Honestly, I might just sit on this play all day long…  When you think of it, the Power Page’s really rock, even if they suggest waiting for a particular spot…  Santa Anita just looks a little juicy and on the easier side …
