Del Mar’s turf course played very speed favoring, especially at 2 turns, and the main track was also favoring the inside and speed was okay as well.  Closers on the outside took the worst of it — I mention this as the Del Mar surface is so changeable from day to day…  Saratoga behaved as per the norm, with a slight edge to early speed, good runs from all locations…
